My Wedding Photography Philosophy
Planning a wedding involves lot of careful thought and
coordination. It means setting
priorities and making decisions and working
within a budget to get the most value you can for your special day.
But when the
dress is packed away and the flowers have wilted and the food is eaten, the one
remaining thing of value is the photos and all the great memories that they
bring back.
My job, as your photographer, is to be the journalist that captures the moments
that you see and the ones you don't see. I try to show up in the middle of
everything as it's happening and catch the key moments for you to remember.
I will meet with
you a week or two before the ceremony and listen to your ideas of what
you would like me to cover and the photos that are important to you. I
will also ask you a lot of questions to help you think through what you
want and make sure nothing is missed.
Within two weeks
after the wedding, maybe sooner, I will send you either a DVD or CD of
the images that I took at your wedding. I will do some quick editing,
remove redundant photos and get it organized. With the original images
you can make as many or as few, as small or as large of prints as you
like. If you want help with further
I can also post the
photos to a service where your out of area family and friends can see
the photos and order their own prints directly from the site. This will
take the responsibility off of you and make it more direct for them.
Please give me a
call and let's discuss your plans and see if I will be the best
photographer for your wedding.
