Mark Chamberlin was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. From the time he could walk, his mother says, he was grabbing the family camera. He started his first studio in 1977. He ran it successfully until the late 80s.

From that time on, Mark has continued to take outstanding portraiture, weddings and of course landscapes and just about any other shiny object that gets his attention.

About three years ago, he became fascinated by the technology of green screens since you could create any kind of studio background or environment the client wanted. He has used this to augment his studio work. He still continues to enjoy shooting on locations at people’s homes, celebrations, or events.

Mark has a Masters in Psychology. He is very comfortable to work with. His sense of humor, playful approach with children, and friendly personality help his clients relax and feel comfortable in front of his camera.

Currently he works mornings at a local hospital photographing newborns. This is something he has a sincere passion for. He loves children and they tend to like him as well. Even the tiny ones.
